Fabric & Gouache Painting: Guardian Angel of Mothers

I took a photograph of an angel on one of the arch entrances to the Valencia Cathedral.  I decided to paint him.  As I was painting him, I was thinking about mothers, being a mother, but also about the mothers of my friends.  And so, I knew this angel had to be the Guardian Angel of Mothers.  I embroidered him and the words, "Divine, love, light" onto the fabric.

He can be framed or stretched to fit over a canvas.
