Landscape Oil Painting: Field in Summer

This oil painting is from a photograph that my friend Heather posted on Instagram of Pfafftown, NC.   The minute I saw her photo, I fell in love with the colors and knew I wanted to paint it.  My husband was raised on a farm in Pfafftown, so this painting has extra meaning for me.
